Sai Ka Angan Temple is a Gurugram shrine devoted to Sai Baba of Shirdi. Its halls are decorated with painted murals and carvings that recount episodes from the saint's life and teachings, and the main idol in the sanctum is usually draped with flower garlands brought by worshippers. Devotional hymns and incense set the mood inside.
The story most often told about Sai Baba is that he first appeared in Shirdi as a young boy meditating beneath a neem tree, and later drew a large following through his help to the needy and his teaching of humility and love. The temple marks religious festivals with music and celebration, and it runs charitable and community service work.
