Unmapia is a guide to places across India, on this website and in our Android and iOS apps: forts and temples, treks and hill stations, cafés and local food, with what you need to know before you go.
Where the details come from
Our team researches each place: when to go, what it costs, how to get there and what to watch out for. Travellers can also submit places they know, which we review before they go live. Spotted something wrong? Every place page has a way to tell us.
Credits
- Photos. Many photos are freely licensed images from Wikimedia Commons and other open sources. Each one is credited under the photo, with its author, licence and a link to where it came from.
- Map locations. Place locations come from Wikidata, Wikipedia and OpenStreetMap. Location data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License.
- Maps. The maps themselves are shown by Google Maps.
