Gurugram's Museum of Folk and Tribal Art collects paintings, sculpture, textiles and objects made by India's folk and tribal communities, each reflecting rural life, local legend and belief. Its galleries include Madhubani and Warli paintings and carved tribal masks, Bishnoi pottery with desert plant and animal designs, Rabari embroidery set with sequins, beads and mirrors, and Bhil paintings and beadwork.
Terracotta figures made by Bastar communities for rituals are also on display. Alongside the collection, the museum holds hands-on workshops in weaving, block printing and pottery, and hosts performances of folk music, dance and storytelling. Sultanpur National Park lies about 15 km away.
