The story

Kudakkallu Parambu is a prehistoric burial ground at Chermanangad in Thrissur district, Kerala. Packed into a small area are 69 megalithic monuments, which the Archaeological Survey of India dates to around 2000 BC and has declared a centrally protected monument.

The graves are marked in several different ways. There are topikkal and kudakkal stones, places where several hood stones are grouped together, and stone circles, all standing within the same compact site.
