Dhabhai Kund is a 17th-century stepwell in Bundi and one of the largest of the town's baoris; Bundi is said to have 52 of them. It once provided water and served as a meeting place for people living nearby.
Carved flights of steps descend in a pattern to the water, and their lines catch strong light and shadow through the day. A decorated toran gateway and sculptures of gods, goddesses and royal figures add to the stonework. It is less visited than Bundi's other famous stepwell, Raniji ki Baori, so it is usually quiet.
