Wanakbori Dam

Wanakbori Dam spans the Mahi River and controls its flow for farming in the surrounding region, while also supporting a power station that supplies electricity. Water spilling over the dam can be watched from its banks.

The green countryside around it is used for family picnics and walks by the water, and birds are often seen overhead. Galteshwar Mahadev Temple is a short drive away, and the Wadhvana Wetland, the Tuva Timba Hot Springs and the Garden Palace near Balasinor can be combined with a visit.
