The Sudha Cars Museum in Hyderabad shows the 'crazy cars' of K. Sudhakar Yadav, vehicles built by hand in the shape of everyday objects. Sudhakar built his first car at 14 from junkyard parts and opened the museum in 2010. In 2005 he entered the Guinness World Records with a giant tricycle 12.67 metres tall, and he has also appeared in the Limca Book of Records and Ripley's Believe It or Not.
Each exhibit carries a plaque giving its make, how long it took to build and its top speed. Some were designed for special days: a handbag-and-stiletto car for Women's Day, cars shaped like a pen, pencil and sharpener for Children's Day. There is a double-decker bus seating ten described as the world's smallest, twelve miniature motorcycles, the smallest 33 cm tall, tandem bicycles for up to six riders, and sidecars shaped like a shoe and a commode. The cars are not for sale but are taken out for road shows.
