The story

Sanasar lies about 20 km west of Patnitop in Jammu, at an altitude of 2,050 m, and is sometimes called a mini Gulmarg. Its name comes from two local lakes, Sana and Sar. Broad green meadows are ringed by conifer forest, with mountain ranges in the background.

The meadows hold a 9-hole golf course suited to both beginners and seasoned players, and paragliding flights take off over the grassland. Trekking trails of varying difficulty lead through the forests and around the two lakes.
