The year's largest celebration is Maha Shivaratri, when the state transport corporation runs special buses from Jagtial to the temple. Krishna Janmashtami, Dasara, Vinayaka Chaturthi, Sri Rama Navami and Deepavali are among the other festivals celebrated here.
