The story

Ulagalandha Perumal Temple, also called the Sree Three Vikrama Narayana Swamy Temple, is a Vishnu temple in Singanallur, Coimbatore. Its history credits the Chola king Karikalan, who is said to have visited Vellalore during a campaign to Karur and planned a temple for the people of nearby Singanallur; inscriptions on the main idol are said to record this. Worship follows the Pancharatra Agama, and the vanni is the temple tree.

The north-facing main image, made of panchaloha, shows Ulagalandha Perumal standing with his right foot on the ground and his left leg lifted towards the sky. Six of his eight hands hold weapons and two bless devotees. Sridevi, Bhudevi, Mahalakshmi, Ramanujar, Andal and several Alvars also have images, while Chakkarathazhwar and Anjaneyar stand tall at the entrance. After renovation in 2000, the seven-tier tower was consecrated in 2005. Festivals include Brahmotsavam, Thiru Onam, Vamana Jayanthi, Vaikunta Ekadasi, Rama Navami and Navaratri.
