The Tribal Research and Cultural Museum, usually called the Tribal Museum, is a cultural museum in the city of Rourkela, Odisha. It exists to preserve, document and exhibit the heritage of the state's tribal communities.
The Government of Odisha conceived it as part of wider efforts to promote tribal heritage in the western part of the state, and President Droupadi Murmu's visit to Rourkela in April 2026 was the occasion of its formal inauguration. Its founding reflects a growing institutional interest in tribal studies in Odisha, which has a significant tribal population.
