This Mangaluru park, in Karnataka, is laid out on two separate plots: nine acres facing the Gurupura river and 22.5 acres on the beachfront. Its planting includes a range of Western Ghats species as well as herbal plants.
Alongside the trees there is a children's area, a food court and a space for cultural events. The beach section has an information kiosk, a beach volleyball court and a seating area shaded by pergolas.
