Radhanagar Beach lies on the western shore of Havelock Island in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, an island now officially named Swaraj Dweep. It holds Blue Flag certification, the international eco-label given to beaches that pass strict tests of environment, safety and cleanliness.
The beach is known for white sand and clear turquoise water backed by dense tropical forest, and its gentle waves suit swimming. It is counted among the cleanest beaches in India, was placed among the top 10 beaches in Asia in TripAdvisor's Travellers' Choice Awards, and appeared in Time Magazine's 2004 list of the world's best beaches. It is around 12 km from Havelock Jetty, reached by road or government bus after the ferry crossing from Port Blair.
