Kunjal Mata Temple, Deh

Kunjal Mata Temple is dedicated to the goddess Kunjal and stands in Deh village, in Jayal tehsil of Nagaur district. It is about 1.3 km from the Deh bus station on National Highway 65, the road linking Nagaur and Ladnun.

Kunjal Mata is honoured as the kul devi, or family goddess, of the Pareek Brahmins, including the Joshi, Kanthadia and Sakraniya gotras among others. The temple grounds cover 38 bigha, and the site is counted among the historical places of Rajasthan.
