Jirawala Tirth is a Shvetambara Jain temple in Jirawala village, Sirohi district, 58 km from Abu Road. Its principal deity, Jirawala Parshvanath, is one of the 108 prominent Shvetambara Parshvanath idols. Jain belief places the temple's origins some 2,800 years ago, and Jirawala was an important Jain centre between 506 and 1324 CE. Legend says a cow kept releasing its milk near a cave here, and after the merchant Dhanna Shah dreamt of a Parshvanath image at the spot, the idol was dug up there; Acharya Deva Gupta Suri consecrated it in 894 CE.
The present structure dates to 1134 AD. A main domed shrine is lined up with 52 domed sub-shrines, which together house 108 Parshvanatha images, each with its own name, and there are 60 dhwaja stambhas in the complex. The white idol is just 18 cm tall and is believed to be made of milk and sand. Damaged in the 2001 Gujarat earthquake, the temple was restored in 2017, and a dharamshala with a bhojanalaya serves pilgrims.
