Kumbharli Ghat is a road pass through the Western Ghats in Maharashtra. It carries the state highway between Chiplun in coastal Ratnagiri district and Karad in Satara district, joining the Konkan to the Desh region, and it is one of only a few roads in the state that climb from the coast to the ghat top. The road runs at an average height of about 625 m.
On the plateau side the route passes Malharpeth, Koynanagar and Patan before reaching Karad, where the highway meets NH-4, and the Koyna Dam lies close to the eastern end of the pass. Landslides and accidents are reported on this stretch during the rainy season.
