The story

Jampore Beach lies about 5 km from the Moti Daman Jetty and is quieter and more secluded than many beaches nearby. It has soft black sand and clear water, and rows of casuarina trees along the shore give plenty of shade.

At low tide the water retreats a long way, leaving a broad stretch of wet sand where people walk and collect shells and conches. Camel and horse rides are offered on the sand, and parasailing and jet skiing are available offshore.
