Gupteshwar Mahadev is a popular Hindu temple to Shiva, set inside a hilltop cave in Titardi village, on the outskirts of Udaipur. Though it lies on a remote side of the city, it is only around 8 km from Surajpole in the city centre and about 7.5 km from the city's main railway station, Udaipur City.
No public transport runs directly to the temple, so visitors come by private vehicle, taxi or auto-rickshaw and arrange to return the same way. There is plenty of parking at the base of the hill, and from there a walk of roughly 800 m leads up to the cave shrine. Darshan is open from 5 am to 5 pm.
