The story

Ghoghla Beach in Diu holds Blue Flag certification, an international label given to beaches that meet standards for cleanliness, safety and sustainable management. It lies roughly 15 km from central Diu town and faces the Arabian Sea, with clear water and mild waves suited to swimming, sunbathing and water sports.

Diu Fort, on raised ground nearby, can be seen from the sand. Ghoghla draws fewer visitors than the busier beaches around Diu, so it tends to be calmer and its sand cleaner.
