Galteshwar Temple stands near the point where the Galati river joins the Mahi, on the rocky banks of the Mahi. It dates from the Solanki period and is dedicated to Shiva, and water from the Galati spring falls continuously onto its Shiva linga.
The temple has an unusual eight-sided hall covered in carvings of gods, humans and celestial beings, including gandharvas, rishis, riders on horses and elephants, chariots and palanquins. Other panels trace the course of human life from birth to death. Dakor, a pilgrimage centre of Krishna, is 16 km away.
