The story

Don is a village and hill station in Dang district, Gujarat, promoted as the state's second hill station after nearby Saputara. It sits on a plateau in the Dang forests of the Western Ghats at about 1,000 metres, higher than Saputara, and lies 33 km from Ahwa; a new road built in 2013 cut the distance from Saputara to 55 km.

The village stays pleasantly cool through the year and is rich in biodiversity. A hillock here is named after Dronacharya, and the approach passes waterfalls and caves close to Pandav village. Vulture Point is a spot for watching vultures and other raptors soaring above the cliffs. The monsoon brings the most visitors; after October the weather turns hot and numbers drop sharply until the following June.
