The story

Dargah-e-Aala Hazrat, the Bareilly Dargah, is a Sufi shrine complex in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. It holds the mausoleum of the scholar Ahmad Raza Khan, known as Aala Hazrat, and the graves of several relatives, among them Mustafa Raza Khan and Rehan Raza Khan. Its dome was designed by Shah Mehmood Jaan Qadri, reportedly with the help of matchsticks.

The dargah is known for the fatwas its clerics have issued. Each year it hosts the Urs-e-Razvi, the death anniversary of Ahmad Raza Khan, which brings large crowds and many scholars; the Urs is now also observed in about a dozen other countries.
