Camel Valley is a stretch of rugged hill country near Igatpuri, with tall cliffs, green slopes and small streams. It is visited mainly for its waterfalls, which pour down the rocky sides of the valley and collect in pools where people bathe and picnic.
Trails cross the valley for those who want to hike, and horse rides are offered for a slower look around. Butterflies, birds, deer and monkeys can be seen in the area. Other sights close by include the Kasara Valley viewpoint, the Myanmar Gate, the Ghatandevi Mata temple and the Igatpuri waterfall.
