The story
Sundarnath is a Hindu temple to Shiva at Kursakanta in Araria, Bihar, close to the border between India and Nepal. The place is known as Sundari Math, or Sundarnath Dham.
It counts among the major historical Shiva temples of the Mithila region of Bihar. Its worshippers come from both sides of the frontier, with Hindus from South Nepal and North Bihar coming here to pray to Shiva.
