Shri Atishaya Kshetra Simhanagadde is a Digambar Jain temple in Narasimharajapura, Chikkamagaluru district, counted among the principal Jain centres of Karnataka. The principal shrine belongs to the goddess Jwalamalini, the temple's guardian deity, who sits in sukhasana on a buffalo pedestal bearing a three-line Kannada inscription, her eight hands holding objects including a chakra, trishula, noose, flag and kalasha. The temple dates from the Vijayanagara period and is linked to the Yapaniya sect of the Mula Sangha.
The complex includes a Humcha Matha, is one of 11 surviving Bhattaraka seats in Karnataka, and is known for its tradition of fourfold giving, chaturvidha dana. The Parshvanatha Basadi holds a depiction of the Samavasarana. The Chandraprabha Basadi, of wood and stone, enshrines a 2.5-foot white marble Chandraprabha, while the Shantinatha Basadi, built of laterite with a tiled roof, has a 3-foot dark stone image of Shantinatha with a 14th-century inscription.
