Jhari Falls is a waterfall in Chikkamagaluru district, Karnataka, close to the hills of Mullayanagiri and Baba Budangiri. Water coming down from the mountains slides over steep rock as a wide, thin white layer.
The falls are 24 kilometres from Chikkamagaluru town and 267 kilometres from Bengaluru. The closest railway station is Kadur Junction, 57 kilometres away, and the closest airport is at Mangaluru, about 180 kilometres off. Taxis can be hired at Kadur or Chikkamagaluru, but the last five kilometres to the falls can only be covered by jeep.
