01 — The story

Morwan Dam stands in Morwan village, within Jawad tehsil, in Madhya Pradesh, 24 km from Neemuch. Built wholly of stones and clay across the River Gambhir, it serves mainly for irrigation and water supply.

Visitors will find boating facilities here and a public garden, which give the dam a use beyond farming and supply. Buses run here along the Neemuch-Singoli-Kota Road.
