Mendri Ghumar is a seasonal waterfall around 44 km west of Jagdalpur in the Bastar district of Chhattisgarh, very close to the Chitrakote and Tamda Ghumar falls. It drops almost 70 metres, with lush forest on either side, and this setting has made it a popular ecotourism spot in the state.
The character of the fall changes sharply with the weather. Rainwater runs continuously down the hill to feed it, and it looks its best in the rainy season, when it overflows. In summer the flow turns slow and calm.
