Manyawar Shri Kanshiram Ji Green Eco Garden, Lucknow

Known also as Eco Gardens Lucknow, this ecological garden in Lucknow bears the name of Kanshi Ram, who founded the Bahujan Samaj Party.

Two related sites stand on VIP Road. The Manyawar Kanshiram Smarak Sthal is a memorial with a large dome 39.84 metres across, where followers of the Bahujan movement gather on his birth and death anniversaries. Baudh Vihar Shanti Upvan, a 32.5-acre vihara, houses Buddhist monks and offers followers a place to rest, read and meditate. It has a four-faced, 18-foot white marble statue of Gautama Buddha with two 28-foot bronze fountains around it, plus a library and a large meditation hall.
