Manjusha Museum is in Dharmasthala, Karnataka, a short way south of the Dharmasthala Temple. Veerendra Heggade founded it, and it brings together antiques, paintings, temple chariots, vintage cars and other objects gathered from temples across the state.
Among its holdings are terracotta coins of the Mauryan period, a veena once played by the musician Veene Sheshanna and an account book kept by the Manjunatha Swamy temple. There are stone and metal sculptures, jewellery, ritual objects, everyday items made by craftsmen of the coast, and a collection of about 6,000 palm-leaf manuscripts.
