This small shrine stands inside the Kapileswar temple precinct, pressed up against the walls and pathway of the temple kitchen; it is listed among the lesser-known monuments of Bhubaneswar. Its vimana is in the pidha style and reaches only 3.24 m in height, with a cella under a square metre in area.
The image shows Lakshmi-Narayana seated in padmasana on a lotus base. Narayana is four-armed and carries a conch, a lotus and a mace, and Lakshmi sits on his left lap holding a lotus; both wear crowns of the kirita type. A Garuda figure on a pillar stands in front of the temple.
