The story

Kynrem Falls lies inside Thangkharang Park, about 12 km from Cherrapunji in East Khasi Hills, and is one of the tallest waterfalls in India. The water drops a total of about 305 metres over three tiers.

As it comes down, the fall splits into two separate streams, each gathering force before they merge again on the final stretch of the third tier, which gives the cascade its distinctive shape.
