01 — The story

The Jaisalmer Folklore Museum stands in Mehar Bagh Garden on the banks of Garsisar Lake in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. It was founded by N. K. Sharma and is described as a natural history museum.

Its sections cover photographs, costumes, fossils, jewellery, ornaments made for horses and camels, and a collection of paintings. Visitors can also watch videos of musical instruments and traditional dances. An entry fee is charged.
