The story

Indraprastha Park, also referred to as the Millennium Park, lies on the Outer Ring Road in east Delhi. The Delhi Development Authority created it in 2004 on what had been a landfill site, and its facilities include a food court, an amphitheatre and a children's park.

Its main landmark is the Shanti Stupa, a large World Peace Stupa. It was opened on 14 November 2007 by the 14th Dalai Lama, the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, and monks and nuns of the Nipponzan Myohoji order.
