The story

Hardy's World is an amusement park of over 20 acres on the Ludhiana-Jalandhar highway, about 7 km from Ludhiana. It was started in 2004 by Rakesh Chhabra and his son Tarun Chhabra as a place where people from the industrial city could spend a day out, and it has added new rides and facilities over the years.

The park is split into two halves. The Dry Park has rides such as the swinging Pendulum and the Cups and Saucers, along with roller coasters, a trampoline and a video games arena. The Water Park offers pools, a wave pool and slides including the Speed Slide, plus a Rain Dance area; its water passes through an RO plant, and lockers and swimming costumes for hire or sale are available. The grounds also have gardens, three restaurants, seven food kiosks and 25 guest rooms for those who stay overnight.
