Gurdwara Talhan Sahib is a Sikh shrine in Jalandhar district, now dedicated to Shaheed Baba Nihal Singh. Its beginnings are traced to a visit by Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru, who is said to have taught his followers here, and the site is described as dating back to the Mughal period.
The complex has a sarovar (holy tank) in which pilgrims take a ritual dip, and the building is decorated with carving, frescoes and domes, along with ghara-style mosaic made from pieces of broken glass. A tree in the grounds is believed to have healing properties, and historical relics are kept on display. The gurdwara welcomes people of every faith and runs community services, providing free food, shelter and medical help to those in need.
