The Gharib Nawaz Masjid is a Sufi mosque of the Barelvi tradition in the Mominpura area of Nagpur. It takes its name from Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, the saint known as Gharib Nawaz, and its dome is modelled on that of his shrine.
Completed in 1999 in a modern Indo-Islamic style, the mosque has marble-faced walls and twenty-seven arches, each carrying Quranic verses in calligraphy. The wall decoration includes the names of the four caliphs and of the Prophet's family. A number of well-known Muslim scholars and naat reciters have visited it, among them Mohammad Ilyas Attar Qadri of Dawat-e-Islami.
