Shri Dwarkadhish Temple in Mathura worships Krishna in his Dwarkadhish form together with Radha as Radharani, and follows the Pushtimarg tradition. The present building was put up in 1814 by Seth Gokul Das Parikh, treasurer of the Gwalior State, with the approval and financial support of Daulatrao Scindia, the Maharaja of Gwalior. Gokul Das was a follower of the third seat of Pushtimarg, which is based at the Dwarkadhish temple in Kankroli, Rajasthan.
The main celebration is the Hindola festival, held over 13 days in the month of Shravana, usually July to August. The temple is decorated in theme colours, and the two deities leave the sanctum to be placed on an ornamented swing, decked with gold and silver, for special darshan. Janmashtami, Radhashtami, Holi and Diwali are also celebrated.
