Droog Fort, also known as Bakasura Malai fort, is a historic fort about 15 km from Coonoor in the Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu. Tipu Sultan used it as an outpost in the 18th century.
Little of it survives: the fort is in ruins, with only a single wall still standing. Even so it draws tourists, who walk up to the site through the Nonsuch Tea Estate. In 2023 the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation announced plans for a viewing point, a food court and toilets near the ruins.
