Baba Lului's Mosque (Baba Lavlavie's Masjid), a Sufi mosque and dargah complex in Ahmedabad's Behrampura area, is a Monument of National Importance. It was built around 1560 by Baba Lului, also called Baba Muhammad Jafar, who is believed to have been a pearl merchant.
The prayer hall measures about 21 by 11 metres. Twelve two-storey pillars carry the central dome, while forty-four more support the roof and the arches of the façade. The back wall holds four perforated stone windows and three carved marble mihrabs, and a minaret stands at each end of the façade, its niches decorated with floral designs. Damaged in the 2001 Gujarat earthquake, the mosque was restored by the Archaeological Survey of India.
