Vandaravu is the highest peak of the Palani hills in the Western Ghats, rising to 2,533 m. It sits on the western edge of the upper Palanis, on the boundary between Kodaikanal taluk in Dindigul district and Devikulam taluk in Idukki district, Kerala, next to Pambadum Shola National Park. It is also the highest point in Dindigul district.
A trek leads to the summit, and the slopes around it are thickly forested, with wildlife often seen. An old high motor road runs from Top Station, which can be reached by taxi from Munnar, towards Kodaikanal. Nearby summits include Vembadi Shola at 2,505 m and Karumkadu at 2,150 m.
