Sreevaraham Lakshmi Varaha Temple, known locally as Sreevaraham Temple, stands at Sreevaraham in Thiruvananthapuram, near the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, and is run by the Travancore Devaswom Board. Its deity is Varaha, the third avatar of Vishnu, seated with Lakshmi on his lap. Temples showing Lakshmi with Varaha are rare in India, and this is one of only three Varaha temples in Kerala. Ganapathy, Krishna, Nagaraja and Yakshiamma are among the subsidiary deities.
The temple is in typical Kerala style, with a round, copper-roofed sanctum, a square nalambalam and a golden flagmast. Its pond, covering 2.5 acres, is described as the largest temple pond in Kerala. The main festival falls in Meenam (mid-March to mid-April), at the same time as the Painguni festival of the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, and Varaha Jayanthi in the same month is celebrated on a grand scale.
