01 — The story
The story
Ramanaidu Film Studio, also known as Ramana Studio, is a film production complex in Visakhapatnam that also receives tourists. It was founded in 2008 by Dr. D. Ramanaidu, a producer of 150 films in several languages who entered the Guinness records, and it is run by Suresh Productions.
The 33-acre site has facilities for shooting and post-production. Guided tours show equipment, props, costumes and sets, and visitors often film their own short scenes on the sets; carrying a camera costs INR 50 extra and a video camera INR 200. There is also a small theatre screening films, souvenir shops and places to eat.
