Punjab State War Heroes Memorial and Museum

This state-level memorial and museum in Amritsar honours soldiers and civilians from Punjab who gave their lives in war. It was conceived to keep alive the memory of those who served in the two World Wars and in the conflicts that followed independence, and to record the state's long military tradition.

The memorial uses tall pillars, carved detail and inscriptions to create a formal space for remembrance. Inside, the museum explains Punjab's military history with modern displays and interactive exhibits that describe campaigns and the sacrifices of individual soldiers.
