The story

Nada Sahib is a gurdwara on the banks of the Ghaggar River in the Sivalik hills of Panchkula district, Haryana. It marks the place where Guru Gobind Singh stopped on his journey from Paonta Sahib towards Anandpur Sahib following the Battle of Bhangani, his first battle, fought against Bhim Chand of Bilaspur and other hill rajas. The spot stayed obscure until a local villager, Bhai Motha Singh, built a platform to commemorate the visit. The shrine was under the PEPSU Dharmarth Board in 1948 and passed to the SGPC in 1956.

The early Manji Sahib has been replaced by a domed two-storey building beside a large rectangular hall. A wide brick courtyard separates them from the Guru ka Langar and pilgrims' rooms, and the Sikh flag flies from a 105-foot staff near the site of the old shrine. Prayers and community meals take place every day.
