Lakaram Lake, Khammam

Lakaram Lake lies in the city of Khammam, Telangana, nearly 4 km from a bus station, and counts among the city's main tourist attractions. It also supplies drinking water to the Khanapuram Haveli suburb.

The lake has recently been developed by the Telangana government under Mission Kakatiya, through the efforts of the local MLA, Puvvada Ajay Kumar. Fifteen years ago trees surrounded it; today it has an adjoining park called Lakaram Lake View, and boating is the popular activity here.
