Indrahar Pass crosses the Dhauladhar range at 4,342 metres, near Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh, and marks the border between Kangra and Chamba districts. The trek to it is a popular one from Dharamshala, busy during the trekking season from April to October.
Walkers set out from McLeod Ganj to the Galu Devi temple at Upper Dharamkot, then climb through mixed easy and uphill ground to the camping ground at Triund. Beyond it the trail passes Snowline Cafe and the grazing grounds of Ilaqua Got before reaching Lahesh Cave at 3,300 metres. The last section to the pass is a steep climb of between two and six hours. Those who cross to the far side can camp at Chhata caves, at 3,242 metres, and, at 2,260 metres, at the village of Kuarsi in Chamba.
