The story

This walled complex in Rajgurunagar, formerly Khed, in Pune district holds the tomb of the commander Dilawar Khan and the mosque he built in 1613 CE. Both are Monuments of National Importance in the care of the Archaeological Survey of India; the tomb is a dargah, while the mosque, no longer used as one, was partly ruined as of 2020.

The square tomb, of stone and lime mortar, has two rows of three recessed arches on each wall, some of them minutely cusped, and a hemispherical dome on a circular drum, with a flat kiosk at each roof corner. Over the entrance, an inscription gives the date 1022 AH (1613/14 CE). At the western end, the mosque is 10.7 by 8.5 metres in plan; three cusped arches with lotus medallions open into a hall divided by octagonal pillars, under a dome raised on a very tall square drum.
