The story

Calangute Beach runs for about 7 kilometres along the Goan coast and ranks among the most popular beaches in India, drawing large crowds. Called the Queen of Beaches, it is often the first place travellers head for when they reach Goa.

Its long stretch of golden sand faces the blue Arabian Sea and suits sunbathing and walks along the shore. The beach is also a centre for water sports, with parasailing and jet skiing among the activities available.
