Bogatha Waterfall lies on the Cheekupally stream in Wazeedu mandal of Mulugu district, Telangana, about 120 km from Bhadrachalam, 90 km from Mulugu and 140 km from Warangal. Popularly called the Telangana Niagara, it ranks second in size among the region's waterfalls.
Water flows all year, but the falls are fullest between June and November, after the monsoon. No road reaches the falls themselves, so visitors walk the last stretch. The bridge at Eturnagaram on National Highway 163 has cut the road distance from Hyderabad to about 329 km.
